There are so many advantages using LEDs as shadowless lamp light resource, does it has any disadvantages of using LEDs? The answer is yes.

Limited dimming: Most LED lamps would not work with existing dimmer switches designed for incandescent lamps. However, there are some models of LED lamps that have dimming features, but they may require special switches or controllers.

High initial cost: LED lamps are generally more expensive than other types of lamps, especially if they have additional features such as color-changing or smart control. However, the high initial cost can be offset by the long-term savings in energy and maintenance.

Low thermal stability: Some LED lamps may use metallic glass as a reflector material, which can have great mechanical strength and anti-bacterial effect. However, metallic glass can also have low thermal stability due to its low glass transition temperature, which can affect its performance and durability.

Glare and flicker: LED lamps can produce bright and directional light, which can cause glare and discomfort for the users. Moreover, some LED lamps may flicker at a high frequency, which can be invisible to the human eye but still affect the brain and cause headaches or eye strain.
